According to the Jerusalem Post, Iranian leader Ayatollah Khamenei’s Hebrew account on social media platform X was suspended after just two posts.
The latest post on Sunday read: “The Zionist regime made a mistake and miscalculated regarding Iran. We will make the Iranian state understand what power, capabilities, initiative and aspirations it has.” It was written.
The first post, in Hebrew, was posted on Saturday and read, “In the name of Allah, the Merciful.” Both posts came after Israel attacked Iranian military targets last week.
Khamenei often posts in Hebrew on his main X account and often uses strong language against Israel.
Khamenei said Israel’s airstrikes against Iran should neither be expanded nor downplayed. CNN reported that Khamenei said on Sunday that Israel wants to increase the impact of its actions against Iran, but added that it would also be wrong for Iran to dismiss the attack as minor.
“They are making a miscalculation regarding Iran,” he said in comments posted on his website. “They still do not appreciate the power, capacity, ingenuity and determination of the Iranian people. We need to help them understand these things.”
Iran said on Saturday that two soldiers were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting its military sites, after Israel simultaneously attacked a missile production facility, a surface-to-air missile array and other “air capabilities.”
He later announced that the airstrike had “ended” the response to the Iranian missile attack on October 1, saying the jets had returned safely and that the mission was “accomplished.” Iran’s air force confirmed that attacks on military bases in Tehran, Khuzestan and Iram province “caused limited damage.”
