Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, one of China’s busiest travel hubs, is set to receive a transformative upgrade as Avolta introduces an exciting combination of retail and food and beverage experiences.
Effective from November 2024 to 2030, this groundbreaking partnership will be Avolta’s first major project in China and establish the foundation for a new standard in airport travel.
The airport’s more than 1,000-square-metre site will be home to five Hudson retail stores, including China’s first Hudson Café, a hybrid store that seamlessly blends shopping and dining.
The innovative concept allows travelers to unwind with fine dining and drinks while browsing a carefully selected selection of retailers. In addition, we have added two Hudson Market Stores and two Hudson Evolve Stores, providing a diverse and high-quality selection for airport passengers.
For gourmet lovers, the lineup doesn’t stop there. Shenzhen Airport welcomes Wolfgang Puck Kitchen + Bar, known for globally-inspired cuisine in a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere.
Passengers can also enjoy the award-winning taste of Crystal Jade La Mian Xiaolongbao, famous for its traditional Shanghainese cuisine and signature Xiaolongbao dumplings.
Together, these dining options promise to enhance the culinary experience for millions of travelers.
The phased rollout will begin in November this year, with three retail stores opening.
By mid-2025, remaining retail and food outlets will join the thriving airport, enhancing its appeal as a world-class aviation hub.
This ambitious collaboration is in line with Shenzhen Airport’s strategic vision to provide a diverse and high-quality experience that complements its role as an international gateway.
