Park Hyatt’s big plans

Hyatt plans to add seven Park Hyatt properties to the brand’s existing 40-plus hotels over the next two years.

Adam Zilber, general manager of the soon-to-open Park Hyatt Los Cabos, said 2025 is “a year to watch” for the Park Hyatt banner.

Now accepting reservations starting in July, Park Hyatt Los Cabos will be located within the gated community of Cabo del Sol, joining existing properties including Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas. The resort will consist of 163 guest rooms and 19 private residences, with more than 80% of the rooms offering views of the Pacific Ocean, Zilber said. Amenities include five pools, five restaurant concepts, a 59,000 square foot fitness and wellness center, and an oceanfront beach club.
It will also be Park Hyatt’s first location in Mexico.
“This is a great opportunity for the brand,” Zilber said. “There aren’t that many Park Hyatt resorts, just a handful in fact, and the travel advisors I’ve met love working with us and the relationships we’ve built with them.
