A record 817 hospitals providing labor and delivery care were evaluated, but only about half were selected, according to U.S. News.
In the Hudson Valley, eight hospitals submitted data for evaluation, and one hospital, Montefiore Nyack Hospital (which has a strong track record for obstetric care), was named to the “Best” list.
