Although I no longer live in New York, I love visiting to try my favorite restaurants, shop, see shows, and of course get inspired by New York street style. I just got back from my trip and discovered so many amazing looks and pieces that I still can’t stop thinking about – inspiring my own wardrobe and the pieces I choose for the content I create.
Below, you’ll find five styles and pieces I saw everywhere: uptown, downtown, and even hotel lobbies. I stayed at a Marriott Luxury Collection hotel and saw more than five people wearing the same denim silhouette in one day. I’ll also add that you can buy everything I love at three staple retailers: J.Crew, Zara, and Nordstrom. Keep scrolling to see the pieces in question, along with plenty of shopping advice from the three retailers.
Barrel leg/wide leg jeans
Barrel leg jeans have been all the rage these past few months, and as New Yorkers proved to me during my visit, this style isn’t going away anytime soon. It’s a fresh update to denim and adds a cool twist to any look. Wide leg jeans are also a classic.
