Every penny donated to the Empty Stocking Fund, including gifts made for the Holiday Lights Map, helps with the annual distribution of Christmas meals to those in need. This year, it will serve 3,050 households. Each family will receive items needed for a healthy, festive meal, including 5 pounds of ham, fresh produce, bread, sides, and staples.
The idea is to provide items not always available from food pantries so families can come together in the spirit of the season. We’re proud to have been serving East Tennessee families since the early 1900s.
