Hilton, a global hospitality leader, has announced an exciting new collaboration with Wine Country Hospitality Partners LLC, a visionary partnership between Mark Harmon, Robert Radovan and Tim Sparapani. The agreement brings the Waldorf Astoria brand to Texas Hill Country, and will make the brand’s debut in the Lone Star State at the next Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country and Waldorf Astoria Residence Texas Hill Country. Scheduled to open in 2027, the luxurious resort will provide Waldorf Astoria’s elegance and service to the Fredericksburg area, just under two hours from Austin and San Antonio.
“The signature of Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country marks Hilton’s monumental milestone, representing both Hilton’s largest hotel portfolio in the United States and the portfolio expansion of Hilton luxury brands in the United States. “Conrad Hilton’s legacy in the hotel business began in Texas more than 105 years ago and is working with incredible owners. We are proud to realize Conrad’s vision of introducing well-known luxury hotels and housing portfolios to our destinations.”
Hilton-controlled, this vast resort features 60 hotel rooms and suites, with 37 branded multi-bedroom resort villas (added 74 additional keys through the hotel rental program) and 50 branded private residences. Guests can enjoy five diverse dining options, a 11,000-square-foot spa and fitness centre, and two resort-style pools.
Just a mile below downtown Fredericksburg, Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country offers the best place for those looking to explore the scenic beauty of Texas Hill Country, the state’s top wine-tasting area. Surrounded by vineyards, rolling hills, blooming wild flowers and farms, Fredericksburg offers a picturesque and perfect setting for visitors 75 miles west of Austin and 65 miles northwest of San Antonio.
In collaboration with Studio Bag, Fab Studio, Tippler Group, Outside Studios and Paul Duesing Partners, the resort’s design reflects the natural beauty of the region and offers Texas-inspired elements to view the hill country. Accommodations include a multi-room resort villa with a private plunge pool, an outdoor courtyard and a specialized programming. Perfect for those looking for an idyllic retreat.
The luxurious experience will also be extended to 87 Waldorf Astoria Residences, designed with the same vision as the resort and inspired by the surrounding scenery. These residences include single story estate, villas and cottage style Sunday homes, offering 3-5 bedrooms with custom options. Located at the edge of the 106-acre property, 50 residences offer calm waterfront views of Baron’s Creek and gentle hills just minutes from Fredericksburg’s historic city centre. Owners will enjoy access to resort amenities, including wellness and culinary services, along with Waldorf Astoria brand signature services. As Texas’ first Waldorf Astoria residence, these homes offer a unique living experience in Fredericksburg. Limited reservations for the Founder’s Collection Home are now available. It offers exclusive perks such as Hilton Honor Diamond Status and bespoke travel privileges.
“Through my career, I have always been trying to create a destination with a genuine sense of place that invites new tenured patrons to experience it through a new lens.” “Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country will exploit Fredericksburg’s unique architecture and history to create a new experience opening this budding wine destination to travelers and future residents.
“Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country is a major change in hospitality in Texas, bringing the luxurious experience of famous services and brands to destinations with unparalleled potential.” “Waldorf Astoria Residences Texas Hill Country opens up the unusual opportunity to call this destination a home and features the robust amenities and services that come with the brand’s life. These homes are a contemporary rendition of what exists here today, creating familiar spaces, celebrating the land, celebrating a new escape, and celebrating another escape.”

This is an extraordinary space for celebrations, gatherings and rejuvenation holidays in one of the state’s most breathtaking landscapes.”
