NEW ORLEANS – The Philadelphia Eagles feel the stab wound of losing Super Bowl LVII to the Kansas City Chiefs and have not allowed the Super Bowl LIX rematch to be made bigger than the game. The game’s motto is also the phrase from Jeff Stoutland, the Eagles offensive line coach who was popular with the No. 1 hit by TLC in the 90s.
The Eagles, who won four NFL championships in franchise history, did not want to make the moment bigger before the 1970 AFL-NFL merger and the 2018 Super Bowl victory. They believe that if they play the game they will come out to the top and wind up the Vince Lombardi trophy. How do they do that?
When the Eagles run on these three aspects of the game, they become Super Bowl champions.
1. Jalen Hurts doesn’t violate sales
The Eagles are excellent at not turning the ball over from Goodbye Week (Week 5). Since the Bye Week, the Hurts have completed 69.6% of passes with 17 touchdowns to one interception in 14 games since 14 games (including the playoffs). There’s a reason the Eagles won 13 straight games.
In the playoffs, Hurts don’t have prizes. He combines seven touchdowns into zero interceptions, which is why the Eagles have a hard time breaking this postseason. There were few mistakes at the end of Hurts. Because the Eagles have only lost one game since the week bye (the game left early).
In total, Hurts has only 33 touchdowns on two giveaways since the Bye Week (17 passes, 16 rushes) in 14 games. If the wound doesn’t turn the ball over on Sunday, the Eagles could be winding up the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

There’s arguing that Barkley is the best running in the NFL this season and that he’s the best player. He ran over 100 yards this season in 14 of the Eagles’ 19 games, raising his game in the playoffs. This postseason, Berkley has rushed for 442 yards and five touchdowns in three playoff games, averaging 147.3 yards per contest. Barkley’s career average in the playoffs is 6.6 yards per carry.
Chief Slan defense also plays at a high level in the playoffs. Kansas City has 18 straight playoff games without allowing an individual 100-yard rush (Sonny Michelle in the 2018 AFC Championship), and a 100-yard rush as defensive coordinator under Steve Spanulo I have never been allowed to do so. The Chiefs are allowing 148.0 rushing yards per game this postseason.
If Barkley is doing what he’s done all season, including his big run score, the Chiefs could be a long day.

3. Defense moves the Chiefs away from the end zone in the second half
One of the stories of Super Bowl LIX is that it is mostly forgotten. The Chiefs adapted for the Eagles after the first half and took advantage of major special team mistakes. The Chiefs scored touchdowns on three of their four late possessions, including three straights, and tied the game 35-35 to achieve a game-winning field goal (Chiefs were 38-35) I won).
Mahomes was 13 of 14 for 93 yards with two touchdowns and zero interceptions in the second half. The Chiefs’ crime was perfect late in Super Bowl LVII, with no penalties, no punts or bags allowed, and no one imperfection. The second half point of the 24th was the difference in victory.
