The Health Care Protection Committee today announced its first round of recommendations to the U.S. Congress, including candidates to represent New Jersey in the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate. The nominees were selected for their commitment to health care issues, including:
Defend the Affordable Care Act, Medicaid, and Medicare. Defend the Inflation Control Act and provisions that give Medicare the power to negotiate prescription drug costs and cap out-of-pocket costs for insulin and prescription drugs for seniors. Support location-based payment reform legislation. Oppose nationwide abortion bans and support reproductive freedom. Protect abortion and contraception rights nationwide.
