Wayland, Michigan – The new Gunlake Casino Resort hotel in Wayland will be open a few days away.
The new 16-storey luxury hotel tower, offering 252 rooms, will officially open to the public on Friday, officials said.
In addition to the hotel, new amenities are available, including Muno Epa, Sandhill Café, a stylish lobby bar and an expanded casino floor with new slot machines.
Officials said guests also have the opportunity to enjoy several events celebrating the grand opening.
Epic Drone Show (7:15pm) – In the evening autumn, a lit fleet of drones paints the night sky with dazzling visuals synchronized with music, staring upwards. Finishing the evening in the style of 131 Sportsbar & Lounge, he pays tribute to women of rock history with an inspiring live performance by Brena.
In May, the casino will close the entire expansion project with the debut of Wawyé Oasis, a 32,000-square-foot indoor atrium featuring a tropical 80-degree climate, multiple swimming pools, swim-up bars and live year-round entertainment.
The $300 million expansion project first broke the ground in 2022.
