Sicily’s Verdura Resort has appointed experienced industry professional Blair Harvey as its new Director of Golf Sales and Marketing.
Mr Harvey took up his new role at the five-star resort earlier this month as part of a broader remit from Rocco Forte Hotels.
An avid golfer and PGA professional, the Scotsman has worked in the business including director of golf sales and commercials for Trump Turnberry in Scotland, ProSport International in Qatar and most recently Rogers Hospitality/Heritage. and brings extensive experience in the travel sector. Resort.
In addition to expanding Verdura’s presence in new and existing markets, Harvey will also seek to develop new opportunities for Roccoforte’s other properties within the golf division.

Harvey’s appointment comes after another strong year for Verdura, with the resort recently enhancing its golf experience by investing more than €1 million in its golf facilities, including upgrades to its golf academy. That’s what it means.
