Trackman has announced the release of Virtual Golf 3, the latest evolution of its industry-leading graphics engine. This is exclusive to Trackman simulators worldwide.
The company says VG3 is a “huge step forward in bridging the gap between outdoor and indoor gaming” and that all courses have been rebuilt from the ground up to make gameplay “more immersive, dynamic and fun than ever before.” It says it was built.
New features in VG3 that change the way players experience Trackman Indoor Golf include:
Enhanced Atmosphere: Observe changing weather conditions, from morning fog to breathtaking sunsets, all in stunning detail.
Dynamic Cloud System: Watch clouds form, move, and dissipate to create a dramatic, lifelike skyline.
Expanded Asset Library: Every element on the course, from the grass to the trees, has been meticulously rebuilt, allowing designers to recreate iconic courses with unparalleled accuracy.
Details, details, details: VG3 is packed with stunning visuals such as bunker ball marks, divots, pitch marks, tire tracks, tee animations, and more that will amaze and delight even the casual golfer.
Time to progress during the day: Start a round at any time and watch the sun move across the sky at an accelerated pace to match your indoor game.
Advanced Green Reading: Roll more putts with an updated green grid that uses color-coded heatmaps and directional dots to reveal every undulation on the putting surface.
IMPROVED WATER PHYSICS: Feel the magic of water hazards with next-generation physics that brings waves, streams, and ponds to life.
Immersive 3D Audio: Advanced audio technology surrounds players with a soundscape that brings every scene in the game to life.

To access the new VG3 courses, Trackman recommends that all simulator owners and operators immediately upgrade to the latest version of Trackman Performance Studio (TPS 10).
