St Andrews Links Trust, the charity responsible for managing and preserving St Andrews’ seven links courses, including the world-famous Old Course, has published a commemorative brochure to mark its 50th anniversary in 2024.
Established in 1974, the St Andrews Links Trust has grown over the past 50 years to become a globally recognized organization, maintaining and protecting one of the world’s most historic sporting destinations, as well as supporting three clubs. St. Andrews Links welcomes golfers and tourists from all over the world, with more than 280,000 rounds of golf played each year on its seven courses.
Published on St Andrews Day (30 November), this brochure looks back at the history of the Trust, highlighting key milestones, rarely seen photographs and the innovations that have shaped Lynx into what it is today. Introducing.

“Starting with just a few staff, the business has grown to employ up to 400 people in high season, managing facilities that contribute significantly to the town of St Andrews and the thriving regional and national tourism economy. .
“During this time, the Links Trust has significantly developed the St Andrews Links experience, adding new golf courses and facilities for locals and visitors, and growing our global reputation as the home of golf. I did.
