PING, a longtime leader in putter innovation and performance, will install the Zen Green Stage adjustable putting green in the putting lab at its global headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona.
The Zen Green Stage is PING’s second, the first being installed at the PING Performance Research Center at Loughborough University in the UK in 2021.
PING also offers visitors to Zen’s booth (#ETC13) at the PGA Show in Orlando the opportunity to hit breaking putts and shots from sloping lies on Zen’s moving green and swing stage platforms. We also provide golf equipment that you can use to hit and play.
The Zen Green Stage creates compound and double breaks, as well as planar slopes, allowing golfers to hit an almost infinite number of different brake putts in a single, compact space. PING engineers, researchers and master putter fitters will use the Phoenix facility for a variety of purposes, including product testing and custom fitting.
said Paul Wood, vice president of engineering at PING. “The company was founded by Carsten Solheim, an engineer and frustrated golfer who wanted to improve his putting. He applied his physics expertise to designing better putters.” Since then. , improving putting technique and helping golfers improve their putting is the cornerstone of PING.
“The addition of the moveable Zen green stage allows us to continue that mission by unlocking valuable insight into what golfers experience on the putting green, helping improve putter design and fitting techniques. We will be connected.”
Andy Hiseman, Zen Golf’s vice president of global sales and marketing, said: “As a pioneer in precisely adjustable golf playing surfaces, nothing gives our team greater pride than being chosen as the technology provider by a world-class organization like PING.
“Our relationship with PING is one of our most cherished in this sport. The fact that we are outsourcing sends a strong message to the industry about quality.”
PING will soon install the 20-foot Zen Green Stage, the largest model in the Zen series, at its Phoenix facility. The Green Stage also comes in 16-foot and 12-foot sizes, and its sister product, the Zen Swing Stage, produces a sturdy ramp for hitting full shots indoors off-grade and comes in a 6-foot size.
