James Bastian, managing director of Winchester-based grounds care company Wildwood Machinery, says the appointment of new sales manager Rob Hogarth will expand its geographical reach and customer areas in 2025. He says this shows the company’s ambition.
“This year we have made significant progress in developing Wildwood Machinery, with the aim of becoming the leading supplier of grounds care services in the south of England.”

Rob Hogarth, newly appointed sales manager at Wildwood Machinery, has 25 years’ experience working at golf clubs across the UK, including leading the new course ‘Grow-in’ at the prestigious Remedy Oak Golf Club in Dorset. Some of them I was in charge of.
Rob’s priority at Wildwood is to drive sales of grounds care equipment and after-sales services and build relationships with other suitable equipment manufacturers and customers.
