Intuitive Edge is proud to celebrate 10 years of sales and marketing innovation across the golf industry with a record year.
As two 24-year-old golfers working at a south coast golf club, Harry Boyd and Brandon Trimmer planned to break with the norm.
We will help golf clubs across the UK do things differently. Harnessing the power of modern marketing opportunities to make the most of what your club has to offer.
Since then, Intuitive Edge has supported countless golf clubs across three continents, managed the digital marketing for multiple DP World Tour venues, and recently launched a membership sales service with an in-house sales team, which has already sold over £1 million. I have converted my membership contract.
“It all started with a deal from one of the most famous estates in the world to manage the digital marketing for their golf course,” says Brandon, co-founder of Intuitive Edge. “I’ll never forget hearing the news at Crown and Anchor in Del Key. I was so excited! I quit my delivery job that week, but a few weeks later I was told, “I haven’t been able to do this, and it won’t work for me.” It was a nail-biting experience and an early lesson in business…”
Fortunately, not long after that initial setback, Enfield Golf Club met “The Boys” (as Kim still calls them), thanks to an introduction from Kim Wilde of Women’s & Golf magazine. I saw potential in what they had to offer. They took on marketing management for the club and it was a huge success.
A few years later, they worked with the likes of Royal Ashdown Forest and Abu Dhabi Golf Club, delivered marketing seminars to the AGMS Golf Management degree at the University of Birmingham, and Intuitive Edge became a marketing partner of the British Golf Federation. .
Brandon continues. “We took a trip down memory lane last week and looked at the first proposals we ever submitted, early ad content, and some old reports. It’s amazing to see the difference between then and now. , 10 Thank you to Eddie Brock, Stuart Gillett, Richard Hagarth and Doug for their invaluable help and guidance over the years which has helped shape us into who we are today. I would like to extend a huge thank you to Poole and the late Ed Richardson.”
The company’s next chapter will focus more on membership sales and marketing services, building on its already highly effective processes to maximize acquisition through a number of new avenues. Over the past four years, Intuitive’s internal sales team has consistently proven that dedicated sales resources add significant value to membership marketing efforts, directly converting hundreds of members and increasing the number of members in 2024. Achieved record years of membership at the club. 2024 was not only Intuitive Edge’s 10th year in business, but also a record year for the company’s sales services.
As a result, Intuitive plans to expand its business in this area and roll out a number of new services designed to deliver even better results in 2025.
Josh Henderson, account director at Intuitive, added: “Our increased focus on membership sales and marketing reflects the results our processes are delivering and our commitment to helping clubs thrive in the competitive environment they find themselves in. Clubs often have a lot of work to do and offer to local golfers, but don’t know how to reach their target market or sell to them. Our team will help them do that.”
