Here are some highlights from that 30-year timeline.
1998: The iconic Speeder 757 debuts on the PGA Tour and quickly becomes a game changer in performance wood shafts.
2000: The Speeder 757 became the number one driver and wood shaft on the PGA Tour in 2000, cementing Fujikura’s place among golf’s elite.
2001: Fujikura Shaft wins its first major championship title with innovative designs such as the Prototype 70 (later Vista Tour 70) and Vista Pro 90.
2003: Fujikura uses the Speeder 757 to celebrate its first win at Augusta and goes on to win two more major championships that year.
2010: Introduction of ENSO technology revolutionizes shaft design with cutting-edge 3D motion capture and analysis, further extending Fujikura’s leadership in shaft engineering.
2019: Fujikura introduces the revolutionary VENTUS shaft with VeloCore technology, setting a new standard for speed and stability in performance wood shafts.
2020: VENTUS Red and Black complete VeloCore launch and VENTUS Black scores first major win at Augusta.
2022: VENTUS TR is introduced to the VENTUS lineup and Fujikura wins three more majors in one season for the second time.
2023: AXIOM iron shafts are launched, incorporating VeloCore technology into an iron shaft for the first time in the brand’s history.
2024: Fujikura launches the next generation VENTUS series with VeloCore+ technology. In addition to another major victory and Tour Championship title, Fujikura is launching the new PRO Series, which continues its tradition of innovation and performance.
