Todd Barker, the director of Fore Lakes Golf Course in Taylorsville, Utah, has been elected president of the American Association of Golf Course Principals.
Barker is the 88th president of the Association’s history and served as the association’s vice president in 2024. He has been a member of the association’s board of directors since 2018. A 21-year member of the GCSAA, Barker is also a former president. Utah GCSA.
Barker joined the ground crew at Maeko in 1995 and has been director since 2006. The third generation director was exposed to GCSAA when his father, GCSAA member, Todd Barker, took his family to the GCSAA meeting and then took him to the GCSAA meeting. Every year there is a trade fair.
