Rudy Giuliani will keep his apartment and World Series ring in exchange for unspecified “compensation” payments to two campaign officials and a promise not to disparage them any further.
The former New York mayor was absent from a non-jury civil trial that was scheduled to begin Thursday in Manhattan federal court. The case was adjourned until Tuesday.
“All parties have reached a resolution,” Giuliani’s lawyer Joseph Cammarata said outside court.
He read Giuliani’s statement and said the settlement did not include an admission of guilt.
Giuliani’s statement said he could keep his New York co-op and Florida condo, along with all his personal belongings. He agreed not to speak about Freeman and Moss in a disparaging manner.

Mr. Giuliani was scheduled to be the first witness in a lawsuit that will determine whether he must turn over his Florida apartment to two Georgia election officials.
When asked by ABC News Thursday morning if Giuliani would appear in court, his attorney said, “I’m not going to make any comment right now.” Asked if Mr. Giuliani was okay, his lawyer said, “Yes.”
In 2023, a jury found Giuliani liable for defaming Ruby Freeman and Shea Moss for rigging Georgia’s 2020 presidential vote, and sentenced two election officials to 1. awarded a judgment of $48 million.
The former New York City mayor has already handed over his Mercedes and other assets to the women, but was fighting to keep the condominium he claims as his permanent residence.
Giuliani was stripped of his law license and disbarred in New York and Washington for supporting former President Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
He was indicted twice this month on contempt charges by two different federal judges.
