Get the luxury Fiji Suite, valued at $4,300, for just 150,000 Hilton points. Book now before this offer is gone.
Hyatt’s loss was Hilton’s gain. When Hyatt acquired luxury boutique hotel booking platform Mr & Mrs Smith, it was bound to end its partnership with SLH Hotels. Hilton was hugely successful with SLH. It was a game changer for the Honors program.
While Honors points are typically low value, the point cost for SLH hotels is capped at the highest price for Hilton properties, meaning you can get very good value points, usually less than half a cent per point but sometimes as much as 3-4 cents per point, and the hotels are much nicer than most Hilton branded hotels.
One great example is Raiwasa Private Resort on Taveuni Island in Fiji, an hour’s flight from Nadi. The property is small and the rooms for sale aren’t often available, but if Hilton can sell the rooms at this price, it seems you can also book with points.
With over 2,000 square feet of room and a 933 square foot deck, you’ll pay more than $4,300 per night.
However, you can use 150,000 Hilton Honors points per night instead.

Like many smaller, more remote properties, they have strict cancellation fees. They can’t offer discounted rates online and fill rooms last minute, so cancellations have serious ramifications for the property. For both paid and points stays, they state the following: “Cancellation Fee: 25% of total stay fee if cancelled between 3pm local time from date of booking (61 days prior to arrival), 100% of total stay fee if cancelled 60 days or more prior to arrival.”
There are some truly special places you could never experience with cash, like Riverview Ranch in Montana, Calara Island in Nicaragua, and Hermitage Bay in Antigua. Places that would cost $3,000-5,000 a night are now available for 130,000-150,000 Hilton points a night.
I would jump on some of these exceptional values. For now, Hilton says they are pricing within the normal redemption band, but that could change or they could raise the points price cap. Hilton has never offered value like this before, so I wouldn’t want to miss this opportunity.
