The PGA Tour is moving Genesis to the South Course at Torrey Pines in San Diego from February 10-16, the tour announced Friday.
The Genesis Invitational, hosted by 15-time major champion Tiger Woods, was scheduled to take place at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California. The tour announced last week that the event would be moved due to recent wildfires in the Los Angeles area.
Torrey Pines Golf Course is the site of this week’s Farmers Insurance Open, which takes place on the North and South Courses, so much of the infrastructure needed for the Genesis Invitational is already in place.
