Former Rep. Liz Cheney has been called on by Republican lawmakers to request that the FBI investigate her for “possible criminal witness tampering” related to her former role before a House Select Committee on Jan. 6. Details are being sought by Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.) in a report released Tuesday by the chairman of the House Government Oversight Subcommittee.
“Based on the evidence available to this subcommittee, it is likely that a number of federal laws were violated by Liz Cheney, former vice chair of the January 6th task force, and that these violations are the subject of a federal investigation.” Should be investigated by the Department.
