Enrique Talio, a former proud juvenile leader who was lenient by President Donald Trump the previous month, was arrested outside the U.S. Capitol on Friday and charged with assaulting a female protester.
Talio was handcuffed, searched and placed in a police van by US Capitol police after appearing on Capitol Hill with a proud boy and several other members of the Oath Keeper for a “press conference.” I did. Police said he was charged with assault.
“When our officers saw a woman (counter protester) put their phones near the man’s face, the incident occurred while they were walking, and the incident occurred on ET afternoon,” Capitol police said in a statement. He said it happened around 2:30. “Then officers saw a man hitting the woman’s phone and arm,” the statement said.

Asked why he was taken into custody, Talio told the spectators, “The woman called me in my face, so I didn’t listen to her call.”
NBC News contacted the Washington US Lawyer’s Office. It is currently led by Ed Martin. Ed Martin helped organize a “Stop the Steal” rally that preceded the Capitol riots and later became the defendant on January 6th. NBC News also contacted Talio representatives.
Late Friday night, Talio appeared outside a conservative political action meeting and said police had released him. Talked to the journalist, he said the woman “stabed” him with something and he “grabbed her by her phone and slammed it on the ground.”
Talio said he was under the impression that he could withdraw the charges, saying, “Law enforcement saw a video showing that she had contact with me.”
Earlier in the week, Talio had been escorted by the CPAC, but on Friday he said he was in good condition at the meeting and displayed a badge.
Talio said he is still affiliated with the proud boys and “we’re going to continue fighting.”
Talio sentenced to 22 years in prison for accusations that included in inflammatory conspiracy against his role on January 6, 2021, including inflammatory conspiracy against his role, until last month when Trump served his sentence. He was doing it.

Prideful young boy leader Joe Biggs announced plans for a press conference on Thursday while appearing on a podcast by former Trump White House adviser Steve Bannon.
“I myself, Enrique Talio, Stewart Rhodes, Zachary with the Vows Keeper (Rehl) Here we go to the Capitol and talk about plans for the future.
At a press conference, they told reporters they plan to sue the Justice Department over the charges filed against them.
“I’m not talking about violent retaliation. I’m talking about something stronger, accountability and the rule of law. That’s what we’re saying today, we’re going to be saying their murder, their lies, And that’s why they’re publishing lawsuits against the DOJ for the end of the suffering that has passed us,” Talio said.
No lawsuits have been filed yet. Biggs showed they wanted “about $150 million,” but “we’re not focusing exactly what it will be.”
The four men were convicted of inflammatory conspiracy for the main role they played in the January 6th riots, and the group received the longest sentence related to the riots. Trump notified all sentences on his first day in office and announced about 1,500 amnesty to supporters convicted of criminal charges related to the attack.
