Former New York Giants defensive back Logan Ryan is starting a new career in the television booth.
Ryan, a New Jersey native, announced at X that he will be joining CBS as part of the 2024 college reporting team.
Ryan will be the newest game analyst joining the CBS Sports team alongside Luke Kuechly.
Ryan, of course, began his career with the New England Patriots, winning two Super Bowls in four seasons there, before spending three years with the Tennessee Titans before joining Big Blue.
Ryan signed a one-year contract with the Giants in 2020 and moved from cornerback to safety. During his two years with the Giants, he started 30 games and served as a team captain.
Ryan signed a three-year contract with the team and was released following the 2021 season despite setting career highs in total tackles (117), solo tackles (77) and assists (40) in his second year with the Giants.
Ryan played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022 and the San Francisco 49ers in 2023, making a Super Bowl appearance in his final season.
The two-time Super Bowl champion announced his retirement from football earlier this offseason and will now move into the television booth, though some selected players will not.
