DEER VALLEY, Utah — Construction has begun on Cormont, a five-tower luxury development in Deer Valley’s East Village that will bring 350 new homes with direct ski access by 2027.
“Cormont is a once-in-a-generation type of development,” said Jared Lucero, CEO of REEF, the project’s developer. “This is the type of development that will change locations for decades to come.”
The first 48-unit tower, called Tower One, will feature a reception lobby with an adjacent cafe and dining area, multiple lounges and an outdoor terrace. The fitness center features a hot tub, sauna, cold plunge, and private shower. Properties range from one-bedroom condos to five-bedroom penthouses and are priced from $1.7 million to $9.75 million.
The development, designed by Gomez Vasquez International and FFKR Architects, includes a temperature-controlled underground parking garage and a lobby that opens to a food and beverage outlet. The pool with sundeck overlooks Jordanelle Reservoir, and ski attendants provide overnight equipment storage and daytime lockers.
The building features energy-efficient materials, drought-resistant landscaping, and dark-sky lighting standards. Two lifts and a gondola connect residents to the ski area, and amenities can be accessed through a dedicated app.
“Colmont is located in the heart of Deer Valley’s East Village and embodies our vision of being ‘in the middle of everything,'” Lucero said.
