Atmos Energy joined Utilities Union Against Fraud (UUAS) this week in support of International Fraud Awareness Week and recognized the 9th Utility Fraud Awareness Day on November 20th. The day is an advocacy and awareness campaign focused on educating customers and exposing the tactics used by scammers. RHAIA adds temporary parking to airport during holidays and construction periods
With the holidays approaching and construction projects underway, Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport (RHAIA) is offering additional parking through January 6th.
“Overflow parking will be available as we anticipate an increase in travel due to construction projects and vacations,” said City of Amarillo Aviation Director Michael Connor. “Construction projects will impact parking spaces in our outdoor parking lots, so we wanted to provide additional parking options for travelers.”
If the adjacent parking lot is full, overflow parking is available. Signage is posted at the airport directing the public to additional parking locations. Xcel Energy names new media spokesperson for Texas and New Mexico dealerships
Kaylee Green has joined Xcel Energy as Senior Media Relations Representative for Texas and New Mexico. She replaces Wes Reeves, who was appointed senior community engagement manager for Xcel Energy’s wildfire mitigation program in July.

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host the Amarillo Farms and Ranches event on Dec. 3 and Dec. 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Amarillo Civic Center Grand Plaza Ballroom (401 S. Buchanan St.). We will be offering a two-day educational program during the show. Amarillo.
