TULSA, Okla. — Fire crews responded to a small fire inside a business in midtown Tulsa Monday morning.
Tulsa Fire said they responded to the Idared area around 9:45 a.m. near East 33rd and South Peoria Avenue.
Firefighters on scene told FOX 23 a small fire broke out on a decorated table inside the business.
The Tulsa Fire Department said there was no major damage other than smoke damage to some materials inside the store.
Ida Red released the following statement in a Facebook post on Monday:
“Due to the recent fire, our Brookside store is temporarily closed until further notice. In the meantime, our Arts District Downtown and South Yale stores remain open and we appreciate your support now more than ever.
Thank you for your understanding. We will provide further updates as the situation develops.”
The Tulsa Fire Department said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
