The final UFC bout of 2024 has come to a close, with Joaquin Buckley becoming the last man to raise his hand inside the Octagon with his victory over Colby Covington at UFC on ESPN 63.
Buckley (22-6 MMA, 11-4 UFC) is on an impressive 6-0 record since dropping to welterweight in May 2023, defeating former interim regional champion Covington in the third round. He earned a stoppage TKO victory (17-5, 12 MMA) at UFC-5 at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, and as a result his stock rose higher than ever during his time in the Octagon.
