A DIY fan shared a gorgeous decor project she did using affordable items purchased at Dollar Tree.
She explained that it’s possible to recreate high-end home décor without the high costs.

Essence (@enhancedbyessence) went viral after sharing her Dollar Tree DIY tips in a TikTok video.
“Young lady, there’s no need to spend a fortune on extravagant decorations,” she said.
She went shopping at her local Dollar Tree and purchased some fake pink flowers, a gift box, and some Styrofoam for $1.25 each.
The total cost of the supplies she purchased was only $3.75.
Once she got home, she laid out all of her materials on her porch and began spraying the gift boxes with black paint.
She noted that viewers are free to choose whatever color their heart desires.
Next, she spray painted the plastic flowers a deep pink color.
Essence opened the gift box, stuffed it full of styrofoam, and placed the cut flowers she had purchased inside.

She printed the Tom Ford logo and applied it to the front of the gift box using GOT2B hairspray.
“Guys, the glue’s gone, but if it can hold a wig in place, it can hold paper in place,” she joked.

People appreciated her original project idea and praised her for her on-the-spot thinking.

Some viewers were inspired by her actions to run, rather than walk, to the nearest dollar store.
