If the most amazing room in a luxury tiny house is the bathroom, there is no doubt that the entire layout is truly amazing. Delivered a few years ago in the middle of a global pandemic, Dejessi remains one of the most innovative, beautiful and inspiring tiny houses.
XL Tiny House and Mega Tiny House seem like oxymorons that go against the core tenets of this lifestyle. Yet these oversized homes on wheels are popular in the US and are occasionally seen in other countries where standard sizes are more popular, such as Dejessi, a 10-meter (32.8-foot) tiny house designed and built in France, where homes on wheels are typically as compact and simple as possible.
The Dejessi Tiny was delivered in 2021 to an inventive and proud owner, who contributed greatly to its innovative style and unique, luxurious features: although the Dejessi was a single-storey home, its added length allowed it to show off more luxury than would normally be included in this type of configuration.

An immediately visible amenity that sets Dejessi apart is its spacious built-in deck. In the warmer months, it’s the perfect spot for an outdoor lounge with cozy seating, a large table, and best of all, a stunning view. When it gets colder, a luxurious outdoor Jacuzzi can be installed in place of the lounge for a luxurious glamping-style outdoor experience. Unlike other built-in decks that are designed like a traditional covered porch, this deck is more flexible in use.
Dejessi was custom designed to seamlessly connect the main lounge to the outdoor deck, with glass doors creating an almost fluid barrier between the two, so the deck becomes an extension of the living room and a luxurious social area for the owners and their guests – a real luxury for a mobile home.
Upon entering, you’ll find versatile living areas and a stunning kitchen. The main living area is spacious enough to include a classic lounge setup, as well as multiple dining options, a flexible home office and ample storage space. Owners can freely mix and match to suit different purposes and functions – all without interfering with the kitchen space at all.

Degesi shows off a truly gorgeous kitchen, the type of thing you don’t usually associate with small living: spacious countertops, full-size appliances (including a full-sized refrigerator), plenty of storage, and plenty of space to move around the kitchen. It also highlights how bright, vibrant, and full of life this kitchen is.
That’s because the creative Dejessi is a self-contained greenhouse, albeit perfectly suited to comfortable, long-term living. Look closely and you’ll find a number of nooks filled with real plants, one of which is cleverly integrated into the kitchen area, at a height that allows in plenty of natural light without taking up any of your precious kitchen space.
Another twist is transforming the bedroom into a gorgeous oasis. With a full-length dividing wall, the bedroom can sometimes seem isolated and gloomy. But thanks to the lush greenery and not one but two large skylights, it’s wonderfully bright and vibrant. This way, the owner can enjoy both the privacy of a traditional fully enclosed bedroom and the invigoration of an indoor tropical oasis. In terms of size, the bedroom is large enough to fit a double bed and has plenty of storage space.

If the bedroom feels like an oasis, the bathroom literally brings the outdoors inside. Adding a green wall is sure to transform a bathroom from basic to amazing, and that’s exactly what the owner did. A stunning wall of real, live plants made this bathroom the most special place in the entire desi. This indoor greenhouse trend has become hugely popular in recent years, redefining “green luxury” in architecture and even superyacht design, as a way to blend luxury with sustainability.
In the words of the builders, Degesi’s bathroom is an “Amazon forest” – and in fact, it offers the outdoor shower experience typically offered at glamping sites, without having to go outdoors, making it suitable for use in any weather, all year round.
Without this complex “indoor greenhouse” effect, the Dejessi would simply be a large luxury mobile home with the amenities and facilities of a typical modern home. Its exceptional connection to nature and the outdoors (via a built-in terrace) takes this home to the next level, proving that this popular luxury trend can also be adapted to smaller dwellings.

Turnkey tiny homes like the stunning Dejessi start at just €65,000 ($72,800), making them incredibly affordable given the high-quality craftsmanship and luxury extras. For an extra $10,000, you can also add self-sufficiency amenities to your tiny home, saving you even more money in the future.
This French tiny home builder specializes in creating custom creations, meaning that the Dejessi Tiny is truly one-of-a-kind, but its creativity paves the way for other bold, innovative designs. After all, Dejessi perfectly embodies the brand’s slogan: an adult lifestyle within a child’s dream.
