Virginia Giuffre, the victim of embarrassment by US financier Jeffrey Epstein, who once allegedly had sex trafficked by Prince Andrew of the UK, says there will be days to live after being involved in a vehicle accident.
“This year was the worst start to the new year… I don’t let the details go bored with anyone, but I think it’s important to note that you’ll come when the school bus driver is driving 110km to turn for a turn, even if your car is a can of cans.”
“I had kidney failure. They lived with me for four days and then moved me to a hospital specializing in urology,” she said. “I’m ready to go, until I finally see the baby, but you know what they’ll say about the wish.”
“I’m grateful to be such a great person in the world and to be a large part of my life,” she added.
Her father, Skye Roberts, commented on the post, saying, “My daughter, Virginia, I love you.
“If there’s anything in this world, if there’s anything I can do to help you, let me know,” he added. “I’m holding my spirit and my hand now with you.”
In a statement, Giuffre’s president, Dini von Muyefling, told the Guardian that Giuffre was “in a serious accident and receiving medical care at a hospital.” She added: “She is very grateful for her support and hopes people are sending it.”
Giuffre is one of Epstein’s most prominent accusers, claiming she was abused by Prince Andrew. She was last reported to be living in Australia.
A social media post four weeks ago suggests that Giuffre was in Perth in early March. Western Australian State Police said Tuesday there was a “minor collision report” between a school bus and a car in Nigaby, north of Perth, around 3pm on March 24th.
“The collision was reported by the bus driver the following day,” a police spokesman said. “The car maintained a loss worth around $2,000. No injuries have been reported as a result of the collision.”
WA police confirmed that the driver of the car is a 41-year-old woman.
The Guardian understands that Giuffle presented it to Perth Hospital’s emergency department on Tuesday, April 1st.
Giuffre lived in a home in Ocean Reef, a northern suburb of Perth, along with her husband Robert Giuffre, who purchased the property in late 2020.
In 2021, Giuffre filed a civil suit against Prince Andrew in federal court in New York, alleging that she sexually assaulted her three times when she was 17.
Andrew repeatedly denied the accusation.
In the lawsuit, Giuffre allegedly Epstein and his longtime girlfriend, Githraine Maxwell, introduced her to Andrew in 2001, claiming that Maxwell forced her to have sex with Andrew.
In 2022, Andrew and Giuffre agreed to an out-of-court settlement for a private amount.
Maxwell, who maintains her innocence, was sentenced to 20 years in 2022 for sex trafficking.
Epstein was arrested by federal authorities in July 2019 and charged with counting sex trafficking. Shortly afterwards, he died of suicide while awaiting trial.
