Emerald Holding expands its global footprint with strategic acquisition of luxury travel event leaders, which is beyond that
Emerald Holding, Inc. (NYSE: EEX) has signed a decisive agreement to acquire London-based This Beyond, the premier organizer of business (B2B) events from high-end companies in the luxury and experiential travel industry. The acquisition is expected to be finalized in the second quarter of this year, and is in line with Emerald’s long-term strategy to expand into high-growth markets with the prestigious brand and strengthen its leadership in luxury travel and event curation.
Since its founding in 2009, it has been recognized worldwide in the $1.3 trillion luxury travel market, curating exclusive and shocking experiences tailored to elite travel experts. With a focus on sustainability, innovative design and premium networking, the company has become a trusted partner for luxury travel designers, international tour operators and in-house travel managers.
Once the acquisition is completed, it will be integrated into the Emerald business beyond its employees, including founder Serge Dive. The partnership is expected to improve event quality, improve global reach, improve customer engagement and leverage the extensive resources of Emerald.
