Grimes, a Canadian musician and former partner of Elon Musk, has addressed the rise in anti-Indian rhetoric on American social media and revealed that she grew up in a half-Indian household.
In her post, Grimes expressed her disappointment, saying, “It’s embarrassing to suddenly concoct anti-India energy out of nowhere.” It was also obvious that they were planning this. ”
She also opened up about her upbringing and said, “My stepfather was Indian and I had a turbulent childhood in a half-Indian household.Indian culture blends well with Western culture. ”

A backlash against Indian nationals has surfaced following the announcement of Sriram Krishnan’s appointment to Donald Trump’s administration. Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, condemned racist and bigoted commentary directed at Native Americans.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Grimes explained that after her parents divorced, her mother remarried Ravi Sidhu, a businessman and director of East India Carpets in Vancouver.
When asked how Indian and American cultures melded, Grimes was candid. One user asked, “Will India be okay with the influx of American culture that will change its culture so much?” Will they care that the two get along? “We already did something like this to them. It caused them a lot of problems,” Grimes said.
We’ve already done this to them. it caused them a lot of problems

Grimes later clarified that her comments were referring to the influx of American equipment in India, not the presence of American companies. She suggested that more job opportunities could have been created if more American companies had come to the country.
No, our companies just bombarded them with phone calls and weird controlled internet access, like only via Facebook. Counteroffers actually benefit us, but could hurt them in terms of brain drain.
Canada has this problem with the United States. They take away our best talent to the detriment of the country.

Another user commented on the dangerous implications of people in power expressing anti-Indian sentiments, and Grimes said, “The most powerful person doesn’t agree with it, but many people in power don’t agree with it.” It means I’m watching,” he replied. It’s good to remember that negative comments are louder and felt more. If you haven’t been too exposed to the toxicity of social media, it’s good to remember that your monkey brain is telling you that you will be kicked out of the tribe and that you will die of starvation or rape. It’s important to fight the monkey brain urges that social media tries to trigger. ”
That means the highest authority doesn’t agree.
I also see many influential people objecting. It’s good to remember that negative comments are louder and felt more. If you haven’t been exposed to much social media toxicity, it’s good to remember what your monkey brain is telling you…

The conversation also veered to the influence of Bollywood, with one user suggesting that people might feel differently if Indian singers started dominating the Western music scene. A user also asked her if she would be successful in Bollywood. Grimes responded positively, saying, “I literally always complain that it’s weird that this song hasn’t been a hit in Bollywood in the US. In fact, I’m appalled to work on this. Yeah. They sing better than me. They’re probably the best.” I hardly consider myself a singer. ”
I *literally* always complain that it’s strange that this movie hasn’t become a Bollywood hit in America.
In fact, I’m dreading working on this. Yes, they sing better than me – they are definitely the best in the world. I hardly think of myself as a singer.
