Ella Emhoff appears to have lost her mind after her stepmother lost the presidential election to Donald Trump.
Emhoff, 25, was photographed sobbing on the sidelines during Vice President Harris’ concession speech at Howard University on Wednesday.
Less than 24 hours later, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff’s left-handed activist daughter posted to her Instagram Story one unflattering image of her crying during a speech, writing, “Really nothing to say. No. We’re all going to get through this. It hurts like shit right now, but it’s okay.
“Check in on your mates right now,” she wrote to her 503,000 followers. “I’m here for you all and I love you all.”
Emhoff continued her rant on Friday morning in her Substack series “Soft Pins,” with images of homemade crafts on Pinterest.
“Oh…what? A. It’s the week. I feel like we all need this even more this week,” she began her post.
“I know we’re all feeling a lot of emotions right now. It’s normal and it would be weird if we weren’t. I’ve been through the sadness, anger, stress cycle about 10 times. I think so, but that was this morning.
“I think it’s important to feel everything so it doesn’t fester on the inside. One of the ways I always feel better is to use that anger and sadness to be creative. I think that’s important for everyone. I know that’s not the case. It can be really hard to create when things feel so uncertain,” Emhoff wrote.
Since July, Emhoff has regularly promoted Harris’ campaign with aggressive social media posts. She barely mentioned President Biden on any platform while he was the Democratic nominee.
When she made political statements earlier this year, they often focused on Israel’s war in Gaza.
In March, Emhoff announced that the United Nations They were publicly raising funds for relief agencies.
Emhoff, who has publicly stated that he does not consider himself Jewish despite his father being Jewish, has also appealed for donations for “emergency relief for children in Gaza.” Critics say donations could end up in the hands of terrorists.
