Wheeling Park football standout Brennan Wack (center) was named the Wheeling Elks’ Ohio County Player of the Month for December. Wack, a junior running back, rushed for 2,258 yards and 31 touchdowns this season for the Patriots, leading them to the West Virginia Class AAAA quarterfinals. He was also recently named first team All-State at running back on the WV Class AAAA All-State team. Cameron football stalwart Mason Scott (center) has been named the Wheeling Elks Marshall County Player of the Month for December. Scott, a senior wide receiver and cornerback, was a two-way player for the Dragons all season, helping lead them to a runner-up finish in the West Virginia Class A football playoffs.
