Egypt has announced that an emergency Arab Summit will be held on February 27th in response to President Donald Trump’s recent call to expel Palestinians from Gaza.
Trump said he plans to take over the Gaza Strip, move the Palestinian population to other countries and rebuild the territory into the “Middle Eastern Riviera.”
The US leader also questioned why they wanted to go back there when asked if Palestinians would be allowed to return.
Last Tuesday, at a White House press conference, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he was watching, and Trump said Egypt and Jordan “give us the land we need to achieve this.” Ta.
On Sunday, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said it had communicated with several Arab countries in light of “promoting the development of the Palestinian issue.”

“In the past few days, Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatti made a series of calls with several Arab responders to large-scale regional efforts to block the US proposal to expel Palestinians. I made it,” the ministry said.
Last week’s Trump announcement sparked a disruptive and angry response around the world, with Hamas rejecting a surprise plan in Gaza, saying it aimed at eliminating the Palestinian cause.

Egypt and Jordan rejected the plan altogether.
Arab diplomats emphasized the gravity of the US president’s remarks on Cairo and Amman to the Harletz, noting that they were thinking “very seriously.”
The Middle Eastern Eye learned in early February that Jordan was ready to declare a war with Israel if Netanyahu tried to forcibly expel the Palestinians into their territory.
An appropriate source for Amman and Jerusalem told Me that the last thing Jordan wanted is war and that he is keen on a peaceful solution. But they assert that Jordanians will close their borders as refugees begin to move to the country.
One source told Mee that Trump’s proposal was a “existential issue” for both Jordan and the Hashemite dynasty.
Meanwhile, Mee also revealed earlier this month that Trump’s explosive comments sent shockwaves throughout Egyptian diplomacy and intelligence circles.
Two diplomatic sources — one Egyptian and one Arab — have revealed that Egypt-led Arab countries are in a hurry to provide an alternative to Trump’s evacuation plan.
Among the proposals discussed are major reconstruction initiatives, which involve US companies from Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Libya, Sudan and Gaza. The plan is funded through a lucrative Arab contract to seduce Trump and distract him from forced relocation.
“This is not possible.”
Mootaz Ahmadein, former Egyptian UN ambassador, said Trump’s words should be taken very seriously.
“Kairo must respond with simple, powerful phrases that could make him uneasy. “No, this is not possible,” Ahmedein told Me.
Ahmedein further suggests that Egypt should coordinate with other countries affected by Trump’s controversial policies, including Canada, Panama, Greenland (Denmark), Colombia, Brazil, Mexico and the European Union. He asks for their support against him.

A Palestinian official said he was talking to Harletz, but while a unified attitude towards the forced expulsion of Palestinians is extremely important, it is clear who will “manage and rebuild” the enclaves sold. He said there needs to be an overview.
“Does Hamas control Gaza? If not, do they control Palestinian authority? How can this be implemented, how can they move forward in the reconstruction process and in the political process, if any. These questions still have no answers.”
The Geneva treaty ratified by both the US and Israel prohibits forced relocation of the population.
Netanyahu has already been appointed by the International Criminal Court (ICC) of The Hague for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Over 47,000 Palestinians have been killed in 15 months since he declared war with Gaza.
Almost every home in Gaza has been damaged or destroyed, according to the UN agency OCHA.
Despite these losses, the Palestinians in Gaza strongly rejected the resettlement plan, stating their determination that Israel cannot successfully execute another Nakba.
