Read tips on how to plan your life in 2025.
Feeling overwhelmed? Here are some easy ways to prepare your life for 2025. Make your day stress-free with simple solutions.
1. Use Alexa for daily reminders.
Why you need to be organized:
You can set reminders for yourself at any time. It can listen to music, use it as an alarm clock, answer your questions, tell you the weather forecast, and more.
Alexa’s reminder feature is a life-changer for people who often forget things. Just say, “Alexa, remind me tomorrow at 11 a.m.” and she’ll remind you for you. 🤩 It’s truly a savior for busy moms!
Alexa automatically knows when a reminder is important and asks if you want to receive a reminder every hour until you tell it you’ve completed the task. 😍 This can be used for everything from canceling your membership before your free trial ends, to taking out the trash, to scheduling that doctor’s appointment you’ve been putting off.
2. Use Google Keep as a digital notepad on the go.
Why you need to be organized:
You can easily create notes, checklists, etc. on the go. It’s free.
The best part about Google Keep is that it’s completely free to stay organized and you don’t need to buy any apps, products, or services to start using it. sweet! 🤩
Google Keep keeps me super organized and feels like a walking notebook. It’s a no-brainer compared to Evernote (IYKYK), which costs over $100 a year (if you want extra features). With Google Keep, you can write notes, create checklists with checkboxes, and access everything from your phone or desktop when you sign in to your email. I also like the ability to customize things like background and font color. Plus, it conveniently recommends items as you create your list, saving you even more time.
3. Organize all your drawers and cabinets with home edit items.
Why you need to be organized:
Organize your belongings and stay organized with over a year of testing. The sleek clear acrylic design makes everything easy to see. It is a durable and long-lasting product. Perfect fit for different spaces.
I’ve been using Home Edit’s organization products for three years now, and I can confidently say they’re worth the investment. I’ve tried countless organization products over the years, especially for drawers and under cabinets, and this brand has hit the nail on the head.
It’s thoughtfully crafted to give everything in your home its proper place, and it stays organized even with daily use. Of course, only if you put things back properly. Additionally, acrylic is thick and durable, so it can easily hold multiple heavy items, and each stackable container can be easily moved in tight spaces.

4. Take a day to plan your weekly meals.
Meal planning for the week – free!
Why you need to be organized:
It will help your week go more smoothly. You’re more likely to be able to use all the food you buy. In other words, there is no waste. Stress-free eating since you already know what to make.
It’s incredible how meal planning can reduce stress by investing just a little time into your next week. For me, I usually plan my meals on the weekends when I have a little more down time and can plan out my week. This allows the family to eat everything they buy. Besides, who has the money to waste food these days?
Also, having good meal planning will make your week go more smoothly and your kids will always know what to expect for dinner without having to ask (most days 😉). If you don’t already plan your meals, set aside 10 to 20 minutes each week (or every other week) to plan your daily meals, create a shopping list, and then go grocery shopping. As a tip, create a to-do list during your meal idea week and pin your favorite recipes to Pinterest. This makes creating the material list much faster.
As a bonus, a delivery service like Walmart Plus Membership can have all your groceries delivered right to your door, completely saving you the time of going to the store. 👏🏻
5. Clean and organize your entire home with a 4-week cleaning challenge.
Why you need to be organized:
Cleaning every room in your home becomes more manageable. It’s free.
We created this fun printable to help you easily tackle all the major rooms in your home while reducing stress and overwhelm while decluttering. Designed to tackle one room at a time each week, making every stage of decluttering manageable and rewarding. Best of all, it’s free!
Imagine having a more organized home with less stuff in just 4 weeks. If we can do it, so can you!
6. Skylight digital calendar can be controlled from your mobile phone to keep the whole family organized.
Why you need to be organized:
Organize all your upcoming events in one place. Help with meal preparation and housework. No need to worry about paper calendars anymore. Sophisticated and beautiful. With the monthly plan, you can also use it as a photo frame when you are idle.
Many of our hip friends own skylight calendars to stay organized. It offers many perks, including direct syncing with your phone’s existing calendar, viewing meal plans, tracking grocery lists, and assigning chores to kids. 🤩 Syncs with team sports schedule apps and updates in real time if games are canceled. 😱
No more writing all your activities into tiny squares on a wall calendar or canceling rescheduled events. This calendar is amazing and you can see it as a home CEO’s dream come true. You can also control everything from your mobile phone. 🙌🏼
Please note that some of these great features require the Plus plan. However, it’s very affordable at just 11 cents a day, or $39 a year.
Will you still stick to a paper planner in 2025? Some of our other hipster friends swear by Happy Planners. Our hip buddy Jenna P says… There’s something therapeutic about writing everything down.
7. Set clear goals for yourself.
Setting clear goals is the basis of a planned life. Defining what you want to achieve gives you direction and purpose.
Start by identifying both your short-term and long-term goals and make sure they’re realistic and aligned with your values. Then break those goals down into smaller actionable steps to make them more manageable and less stressful. For example, if your goal is to improve your health, start with specific tasks like drinking more water every day or scheduling three workouts per week.
I recommend picking up the book Atomic Habits to help you create new habits that will last a lifetime and break the habits that are difficult to overcome and hold you back.
8. Don’t forget to take care of yourself so that you can have a truly planned and fulfilling 2025.
Taking care of yourself is essential to maintaining an organized and fulfilling life. Physical and mental health directly impacts productivity, decision-making, and overall well-being.
Self-care is not a luxury. It’s what you need to ensure you have the energy and resilience to tackle your goals and responsibilities effectively. When you prioritize yourself, everything else in your life becomes more manageable.
Here are the important things to do for yourself in 2025.
Make it a priority to get enough sleep to recharge your mind and body. Incorporate regular exercise, even if it’s just a short walk each day, to boost your energy and reduce stress. Eat a balanced diet rich in nutrients to keep you energized and focused throughout the day. Make time for relaxation and hobbies to prevent burnout and encourage creativity.
