Are you wondering how to make a Peep House for Easter?
This fun kids craft only requires some simple and inexpensive consumables!
Easter candies like graham crackers, peeps, sprinkles, and (most importantly) thick icing need to act as “glue” when building a peep shop. I used a tube of Wilton decorative icing and it worked well. To hold the house together, it must be hard and thickly dried.
Give the grass with the grassy coconuts to the Easter Peep House!
This edible grass is completely optional, but it’s very easy and fun to make.
First, I added a cup of chopped coconuts to a plastic bag. Next, I mixed 1 teaspoon of water with two drops of green food coloring. Add water/food coloring book to the buggy, shake the contents and the shredded coconuts turn a nice green color. You can then use this “grass” to take a peek!
Easter Peep House under construction…
As mentioned above, use frosting to paste the three walls and base together, then first create a base for the Peep House and dry/set for a few minutes. Next, install the pitched roof on top. Finally, you can decorate your home with coconut grass, peeps, Easter candy and more. It’s very fun and easy to create!
Hip Tips: Try to decorate your roof with lightweight/small candies or sprinkles. Otherwise you could enter the cave. 😆

1
Three graham cracker sheets are torn apart in half, resulting in six square pieces.
2
Using icing, the four pieces are “glued” to form the base of the house. Lay one square cracker flat, then glue the three sides together to a square. Dry/set for a few minutes.
3
Use icing to create a pitched roof and attach it to the top of the house.
4
Let the house dry/set it. Place finely carved coconuts, peeping and jelly beans inside the house to decorate the decorations. You can also use small candies and sprinkles to decorate the outside with additional icing.
Chilling at my peep!
Ah, my goodness… these voyeur crafts turned out to be so cute. I like this as a fun Easter tabletop display on the tray, as I did in the photo above.
It’s great to have this as a kids’ craft station at your family’s Easter gathering. They love to make crafts that peek at the activities, cute displays and snacks!
These edible Easter baskets are also perfect for older children and teens!
