Club donates to Lydia’s home during the holiday season
According to a release, the NWI Bid Hoist Club recently gave a special presentation to representatives from Lydia’s House, a women’s emergency shelter in Gary.
Card club members donated gifts and supplies to currently homeless women during a holiday gathering at the Gleason Golf Course clubhouse.
Lydia’s House is sponsored by Rebuilding the Breach Ministries Inc., which provides up to 90 days of emergency housing and spiritual guidance to homeless women, the release states. We also partner with Sojourner Truth House to provide services and programs to help clients transition out of homelessness.

Franciscan ExpressCare locations in Hobart and Portage are now expanding in-person hours and virtual visits for patients seeking emergency care with non-life-threatening illnesses and conditions, according to a release. .

Hobart Chamber of Commerce Networking Event January 14th
According to a release, the Hobart Chamber of Commerce will hold its first breakfast networking event of 2025 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Jan. 14 at the Hobart Chamber Offices, 1001 Lillian Street, Hobart.

Westside Leadership Academy recognized for sportsmanship
