“I love this job,” President Trump said. “I’m having a lot of fun here.”
“I’ve always wanted to work at McDonald’s,” he said in a video posted to his official X (formerly Twitter) account.
The campaign stop was intended as a mockery of Harris, who has often talked about working at a fast-food chain in her youth.
He dismissed Harris, who turned 60 on Sunday, and said she was in dispute with someone who said she worked at McDonald’s, which turned out to be a “false story.”

When told by reporters that the day was also Harris’ birthday, Trump wished her well and said, “I think I’m going to give her flowers.”
“Maybe I should buy her fries,” he said jokingly.
