A former model who says she met Donald Trump through the late sexual abuser Jeffrey Epstein has accused the former president of molesting and having sexual contact with her during an incident at Trump Tower in 1993. She believed the incident was a “twisted game” between the two.
Stacey Williams, who worked as a professional model in the 1990s, said she first met Trump through Epstein at a Christmas party in 1992. He said he believed Mr. Epstein was a good friend of the then-New York real estate developer. Ms Williams said Mr Epstein was interested in her and the two dated casually for several months.
“That’s when it became very clear that he and Donald were really, really good friends and spent a lot of time together,” Williams said.
The molestation allegations arose several months later, in late winter or early spring 1993, when Epstein suggested during a walk that he and Williams might stop by Trump Tower to visit Trump. Epstein was later convicted of sex crimes and committed suicide in prison in 2019.
Shortly after they arrived, Trump greeted Williams, pulled her toward him and began groping her, she claimed. She said the man placed his hands not only on her lower back and buttocks, but also “all over her breasts.” She said she froze because she was “deeply confused” about what was happening. At the same time, she said she believed she saw two men smiling at each other.
Caroline Leavitt, a spokeswoman for Donald Trump’s campaign, issued a statement denying the allegations, saying in part: “These accusations, made by a former activist for Barack Obama and announced on a campaign call for Ms. Harris two weeks before the election, are patently false.” It is clear that this false narrative was concocted by the Harris campaign. ”
Williams said that in late 1993, Trump couriered a postcard to her agent showing an aerial view of his Palm Beach mansion and resort, Mar-a-Lago. She shared it with the Guardian. Using what appears to be a regular black sharpie, he wrote: “Stacey – your second home. Love you Donald.”
Williams, a 56-year-old from Pennsylvania, has shared some of his claims in social media posts in the past, but in a call Monday hosted by a group called Kamala Survivors, which supports the Democratic president, The details of what was allegedly done were revealed. The candidate is Kamala Harris. The Zoom call featured actors Ashley Judd, law professor and academic Anita Hill, and others. Kamala’s survivors also published an ad in the New York Times this week, signed by 200 survivors of sexual and sexual assault, after Trump was found in court to be responsible for the sexual abuse. It was meant to remind me of what happened.
After the incident, Williams left Trump Tower with Epstein and said she began to feel that Epstein was growing angry with her.
“Jeffrey and I left, and he didn’t look at me, he didn’t talk to me, and I felt this boiling anger around me. And then we walked out onto the sidewalk. When I got off, he just looked at me and berated me and said, ‘Did you let him do that?”’ she said on the Zoom call.
“I remember he made me feel so bad and I was completely confused,” she said.
She said the incident seemed to her to be part of a “twisted game.”
“I felt shame and disgust, and as we went our separate ways, I felt a sense of revisiting that, with my hands on top of me. And I knew that it would somehow I had this horrible hole in my stomach that felt like a piece of meat,” she said in an interview with the Guardian.
She and Epstein broke up soon after. Williams said she had no knowledge of his pattern of sexual abuse, which later became known. Epstein is now considered one of the worst and most prolific pedophiles in modern history.
The allegations of molestation and unwanted sexual contact follow a well-documented pattern of President Trump’s behavior.
About 20 women have accused the former president, who has been convicted of multiple felonies, of sexual misconduct dating back decades. The allegations include claims that President Trump kissed them without their consent, put his hands under their skirts and, in the case of some beauty pageant contestants, stepped on them in their locker rooms. There is.
A former model named Amy Doris shared similar suspicions about Trump that Williams made in a 2020 interview with the Guardian. Trump has denied ever harassing, abusing or acting inappropriately toward Doris.
Last year, a jury found Trump responsible for sexually abusing columnist E. Jean Carroll in 1996 and ordered him to pay $5 million in restitution.
Williams’ claims raise new questions about the relationship between Trump and Epstein.
There is no evidence that Trump was aware of or involved in Epstein’s wrongdoing.
But Mr. Trump and Mr. Epstein have known each other for decades, dating back to the 1990s and early 2000s, years before Mr. Epstein pleaded guilty to state charges of soliciting and procuring minors for prostitution in Florida in 2008. They were photographed at the same social event.
“I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. He’s a great guy,” Trump told New York magazine in 2002. He likes beautiful women as much as I do, and he even says that many of them are younger. ”
After Epstein was arrested on sex trafficking charges in 2019, President Trump told reporters in the Oval Office, “I don’t know him like everybody in Palm Beach knows him.” He said he had a “fall out” with Epstein in the early 2000s.
“I haven’t talked to him in 15 years,” Trump said. “To be clear, I was never a fan of his.”
Asked if she had ever considered coming forward in the past when other women were making accusations against Trump, Williams said she wanted to avoid negative attention and many other He said he was someone who wanted to avoid the risk of backlash that survivors have faced.
“I left the business,” she said. “I disappeared on purpose because I like the anonymity and I love my civilian life. Then I looked at what happened to the women who came out. , it was so horrifying and abusive. I couldn’t imagine doing something like that, especially as a mother with children in my home,” she told the Guardian.
“In my own way, I just chose to comment on social media to counter people who say he didn’t do anything,” she said.
Like other survivors, she said, she has gained the confidence to process what happened to her and face the angry backlash.
Ms Williams told the Guardian at least two friends about the allegations. A friend, who requested anonymity, said that in a conversation in 2005 or 2006, Ms. Williams met Mr. Epstein and talked about how Mr. Epstein had introduced her to Mr. Trump. He said he told her. The friend specifically remembers Williams telling her that Trump had groped her. Epstein wasn’t famous at the time, but a friend later recalled an anecdote when the Epstein scandal broke.
“What I remember is that it was a fumbling… kind of exciting someone, so to speak,” the friend said.
Allie Gutwillinger, another longtime friend, said Williams told her about the incident in 2015. Gutwillinger remembers the timing. This is because President Trump has announced his candidacy.
“I went to her house sometime that week and I saw a Mar-a-Lago postcard and I said, ‘What is this?’ and she said, ‘Turn it over.’ ,” Gutwillinger said. “She said things like, ‘He’s sneaky, he groped me in Trump Tower.'”
