COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – What it means to Colorado Springs area content creators to help give back to Pikes Peak Region Humane Society (HSPPR) with a major project for Pikes Peak Region puppies I’m sharing what’s going on. Colorado Springs Shelter.
HSPPR confirmed earlier this week that Matthew Beam was responsible for building a “luxury five-star dog hotel” at the shelter.
“I’ve always dreamed of doing something like this, and now that we have that opportunity, it’s a no-brainer for us,” Beam told 11 News Friday. When asked what it means to be able to provide, he said: shelter.
Beem, a content creator whose YouTube page has more than 6 million subscribers, is from the area and grew up visiting the shelter with his family. He added that giving back, especially here in Colorado and the Pikes Peak region, is something he and the “beam team” are proud of.
“A lot of other YouTubers like to go and move around and do different things, but Colorado has a special place in my heart.”
A YouTube video detailing the project’s construction had more than 700,000 views as of Friday, when this article was published, at about 4:30 p.m.
Beem’s full interview with 11 News Digital anchor Lauren Watson is available at the top of this article.
