Plymouth Twp. — Early construction is underway, with developers showing previews of the much-discussed new townhomes being built on the former Wyckoff Steel/Elks Lodge site near Hagerty and Ann Arbor roads.
Toll Brothers has announced that sales of its “luxury townhomes” at The Towns at Plymouth Walk will begin in early 2025.
Over approximately 1,800 square feet, this home offers an open concept floor plan with three bedrooms, a two-car garage, and designer-specified options for personalization.
Homebuyers can choose from two designs, both featuring loft space, a bedroom-level laundry room, and a full basement with finishing options.
Prices start from the mid-$500,000s.
Representatives for Toll Brothers did not immediately respond to requests for additional photos, but renderings are available on the company’s website.
The Towns at Plymouth Walk, located at 41700 Ann Arbor Road, is part of a 369-unit apartment and townhouse project developed by Nicholas Peraino of Pomeroy Living in collaboration with Toll Brothers.
Outgoing Plymouth Township Supervisor Kurt Heise said the development is planned in two parts, with a spine road running through the center of the site.
“The east side of Spine Road will all be townhouses, and the west side will be all apartments,” he said, noting that some townhouses may also be built on the west side of the road.
Heise said the road through the property has been completed and crews are currently digging basements for the townhomes.
So far, the only building on the site is a temporary prefabricated structure, which currently has a privacy fence in place to screen out neighbors to the east.
To offset the impact on neighborhoods to the north, developers have agreed to spend more than $1.6 million on a paving project that will benefit about 45 homes on one of the town’s last dirt road sections. .
Heise said a contractor has been hired for the job and will begin preparatory work soon.
Developers say residents of the new townhomes will enjoy an easy, low-maintenance lifestyle, with landscaping and snow removal included.
“Our new community, The Towns at Plymouth Walk, offers luxury living in one of Plymouth’s most desirable locations, close to all the conveniences,” said Isaac Boyd, Division Director, Toll Brothers Michigan. “This is a unique opportunity for homebuyers looking for style.” “With modern home designs and a variety of personalization options, this highly anticipated community offers something for everyone at a price that offers great value for area homebuyers.”
