Another gold jacket and soccer legend joins the Colorado Buffalo coaching staff.
Buffalo coach Dion Sanders hired Pro Football Hall of Fame Marshall Falk to become Colorado running back coach, the program announced Thursday. Falk is the third Hall of Fame inductee on the Buffaloes coaching staff and joined Sanders, senior quality control analyst and defenseman Warren Sapp.
The 2000 NFL MVP, a three-time offensive player award winner and a Super Bowl champion fork who played 12 seasons in the NFL, is considered one of the greatest running backs of all time. The three-time San Diego State national is also a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
On the day after he played, Faulk was an analyst for the NFL network until 2017. He never coached at the college level. He joined the Buffalo team, who improved from one win to four in Sanders’ first season and improved from four wins in the 2024 Colorado bystanders’ second campaign.
The Colorado running back produced 65.2 yards per game in 24 years, the least for FBS.
