The Miami Dolphins are set to face the New York Jets in Week 18, potentially leading to a third consecutive playoff appearance.
As previously predicted here, the Dolphins vs. Jets game will be televised by FOX on Sunday in the 4:25 PM slot.
This game will be played at the same time as the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos matchup at Empower Field at Mile High, and will either be decided before the Broncos play their Week 18 game or the Dolphins will be mathematically eliminated. It is confirmed that this has not been done. .
Denver currently holds seventh place in the AFC standings and will clinch the final playoff spot with a win or tie against the Chiefs, or if both the Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals lose.
The Bengals, who can only qualify for the final playoff spot if both the Dolphins and Broncos win or lose, were given a slot Saturday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrizier Stadium.
The final game of the 2024 regular season will be Sunday night at Ford Field as the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions square off for the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs.
