Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell made headlines after defeating Kevin O’Connell’s Minnesota Vikings in the final week of the regular season to earn the No. 1 seed in the NFC and a first-round bye.
Coach Campbell told O’Connell, “See you in two weeks,” believing the Vikings would win their first-round game against the Los Angeles Rams and play the Lions in the district round.
Of course, that didn’t happen. The Vikings were eliminated by the Rams in the wild-card round, and the Lions are now heading home after a surprising upset at home against the Washington Commanders on Saturday night.
Campbell has made plenty of bold predictions throughout the season, not shying away from his heart. Now that both Campbell and O’Connell have been eliminated from the playoffs, their moment from the final weekend of the regular season is once again trending on social media.
After a 45-31 season that ended with a playoff loss, here are some of the best reactions to Campbell’s predictions.

This is even more interesting. Not only is he disrespecting the Rams, but he also said last week that the managers didn’t have a chance. A brilliant strategy to achieve both 29 wins in the regular season and 0 wins in the playoffs https://t.co/Hfa8p4ZuSG
