Cracker Barrel’s original old country store will not be restored.
Cracker barrels are fastened as excellent eggs in the restaurant industry, and customers have promised a certain price after the recent announcement of egg additions from competitors.
“The prices of eggs are maintained, but we’re double your reward,” the company wrote in a Facebook post.
On Thursday night, the company announced that Cracker Barrel Reward members will also win double pegs on all egg dishes by Wednesday.

Gunfire: Egg prices rise by nearly 37%
The announcement comes after an ongoing outbreak of avian influenza caused increased prices and limited availability nationwide.
Earlier this week, Fox Business reported many companies planning to add an extra egg charge amid the recent shortage.
Waffle House, a vast southern breakfast food chain, implemented a temporary .50 per egg surcharge on all menus on Monday.

Experts say the price of eggs won’t drop anytime soon
The company issued a statement that both consumers and restaurants are “forced to make difficult decisions.”
“As opposed to raising prices across the menu, this is a temporary, targeted extra charge associated with an unprecedented rise in egg prices,” the company wrote.
Price fluctuations will be “short-lived,” but the company said it is unclear how long the shortage will last.
