The Colts and Arizona Cardinals held their second joint practice on Thursday night, which you can follow along with live updates below.
The first day of practice saw Anthony Richardson, Michael Pittman and the Colts passing game have great success. The pass rush was also very disruptive, but the secondary struggled. Click here for key takeaways from Day 1.
The joint practices have proven extremely beneficial: Unlike preseason, the teams’ core starters are in attendance, while the coaching staff doesn’t get bogged down in mediocrity from a game-planning standpoint, providing a greater challenge on both the offensive and defensive fronts.
Shane Steichen also noted after Wednesday’s practice that the practice environment will provide more opportunities to work on certain situations, such as red zone and two-minute scenarios. For these reasons, it’s unlikely we’ll see Anthony Richardson play in Saturday’s actual preseason game.
