Federal prosecutors have charged a woman in a series of vandalism cases against a Colorado Tesla dealer. This includes throwing Molotov cocktails at the vehicle and spraying “Nazi cars” into the building.
The incident comes amid growing concerns about the impact of masks on Donald Trump’s administration by Democrats and some Republicans, following recent protests at Tesla showrooms elsewhere in the United States.
According to court documents, Lucy Grace Nelson was scheduled to appear in court on Thursday afternoon on one count of malicious destruction of her property.
Nelson was arrested Monday on charges from another state with “additional burnt devices equipment” and material used in vandalism, Nelson, when police returned to a dealer in Loveland, Colorado.

Trump and cost-cost chief Elon Musk’s “government efficiency,” or Doge, is seeking to cut the size of the federal government through massive layoffs, contract cancellations, and other moves.
According to federal criminal charges filed against Nelson, she is suspected of igniting a Molotov cocktail made from an empty liquor bottle near a vehicle that apparently did not cause much damage.
Photos included in the filing showed a small fire in the ground near the vehicle. The dealer estimated that several incidents of vandalism for about a month caused damages between $5,000 and $20,000 in damages, causing damage to the vehicle.
Police said when Nelson was arrested they observed with car cans of various cloths that could be soaked with spray paint, gasoline, bottles and accelerators.
