With no undefeated teams and only two one-loss teams remaining, Texas and Tennessee, the SEC is currently looking to two-loss teams to represent the inaugural 12-team playoffs.

Please note that this is not a prediction of what it will look like on selection day. Rather, this is a snapshot of who is currently in the driver’s seat based on what they have done so far and how the committee has already evaluated them.
The seeding for the 12-team playoffs is different from the rankings, and the final section includes brackets. Remember, the top four conference champions will get byes and the top five conference champions will qualify.
